A little about me.

My name is Sarah. I was born and raised in Alaska. I have two amazingly adorable pups, a husband whom I love to the moon and back, and most recently, a beautiful baby girl. The five of us are the Guedeas.
I have had an interest in photography for as long as I can remember. My first memories handling a camera were my parent's 35mm film Cannon. Between clicking the shutter or ruining the film by opening up the back (sorry mom!), I loved everything about that camera and couldn't keep my hands off of it.  Revisiting those memories with those stills in my hands felt like magically transporting into the past, a feeling with such importance I would not yet understand.

Photographs are important to me because, to put it rather simply, I have been cursed with a terrible memory. Pictures help me recall some of my most cherished moments that I may otherwise not remember in great detail. They help me remember how boyish I looked as a child, or the different dog breeds my first dog may have been mixed with, or even the vivid colors my faithful blankey used to dawn. When I see those images, I remember being there in that moment as clear as day.

It is my hope to capture your moments as special, wild, or everyday as they may be, so you too can magically transport back into that memory and live it all over again.
